ADIT-2004: Information Technologies: Access to Cultural Heritage. Samara, May 31–June 4, 2004.

The eighth annual ADIT-2004 conference was held from June 1 to 4, 2004, in Samara, at the P.V. Alabin Samara Regional Museum of History and Local Lore. The conference theme was "Informatization as a Factor in Museum and Regional Development." A comparative analysis of software used in domestic museum information systems was presented. In addition to the "Museum Information Technologies and Museum Information Products" exhibition, the conference also featured the Museum Media Fair—a non-stop show for both professionals and the public, featuring virtual exhibitions, 3D historical reconstructions, an electronic catalog, and much more.
